Welcome to Chinnor Community Church

We are a community who firmly believe in God's word. Come journey with us.

Hello, I’m Pete and I’m the pastor here at Chinnor Community Church. I’m married to Cath and originally, we’re both from Sheffield in South Yorkshire. I’m a pastor and church leader with a missional focus and I’m committed to making the gospel (the good news about Jesus) known to all because I know that it has life-transforming power, in fact it’s the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.

I’m passionate about God’s word (the truth expressed within the Bible), and at the heart of that truth is the good news that Jesus came into the world and paid the price for all that we get wrong and we have forgiveness and eternal life as we believe in him. The God who made us loves us, and we come into his family and have belonging as we believe in Jesus. What matters most therefore is faith expressing itself through love, and I hope that you’ll visit us here at Chinnor Community Church and even come to belong because it’s a place in which all are welcome, no-one is perfect, and anything is possible.

Grace and peace to you.

Pastor Pete.

God told Abraham that he would bless those who bless him, and curse those who curse him. He established an everlasting covenant with Abraham and gave him and his descendants a land as an everlasting possession. He told Abraham that all peoples on earth would be blessed through him. And out of all the people on earth, God has chosen Israel as his treasured possession and declared that he loves Israel with an everlasting and unfailing love. So, why do Israel of all people now need to hear the Good News of Messiah Jesus?
Join us at CCC on Sunday 8th of March when we’ll have a guest speaker with us from Jews for Jesus.
