Useful information

Meeting times

You don’t have to wear your Sunday best and you don’t have to follow weird rules. And please, don’t feel the need to pretend about anything. Just come as you are.

We are all about people. Because we believe that everybody matters, we really value getting everyone together. That’s why we have lots of opportunities every week.

Cafe Church 09:00am

Cafe Church is our informal – discussion led service. Coffee, pastries and only 45 minutes long 🙂

Sunday Mornings 10:45am

Sunday mornings are our family gatherings where the whole CCC family, from babies to grandparents, meet together to worship and hear life-changing Bible teaching.

We meet at 10:45am each Sunday morning. We have young people’s groups including creche facilities during the morning, although we all meet to share together before the young people leave to enjoy their groups. We share Communion together on the first Sunday of each month.

Our location

Practical stuff

Here you can find out all that practical stuff you want to know before turning up. If you can’t find the information you’re after here, drop us a line and we’ll be only to happy to answer your questions.

Disabled access

There are no stairs in order to enter the church giving easy access. The drive to the left of the church building offers a convenient drop-off point right outside the backdoor to the church (please park your car elsewhere after dropping off).

We are able to accommodate wheelchairs within the main building for your participation in the services.

Disabled toilet facilities are available.

Toilet facilities

We have two unisex toilets in the building. One is a slightly larger than the other and offers disabled access as well as baby changing facilities.

Baby changing facilities

It’s never easy coping with little ones, our toilets have facilities to help you get them clean and fresh again.

Young people

On a Sunday morning we have a three groups that cater for the young people in the church.

Pebbles is a group for toddlers through to five year olds. The Rock is for children aged 5 -11, and Rock Solid is for children 11 – 15.

In these groups the young people will learn more about the Christian faith in ways and at a level that’s appropriate for their age.

Toy bags

We understand that trying to keep little one’s entertained whilst they remain with the adults at the start of each service can be a challenge. That’s why we have special bags of toys available as you arrive, with things to play with, picture books to read and pictures to colour in. Plenty to keep your toddlers entertained until it’s time to join their group’s session.

Refreshments

After the morning service you are invited to join us for tea and coffee (and sometimes cake!) in the back hall. There’s squash and biscuits too for the young people. This is a great time to get to know other members of the church family.

Alpha Course

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. No pressure. No follow up. No charge.

It runs in churches, bars, coffee shops and homes all around the globe and right here in Chinnor at CCC. Typically Alpha has around ten sessions and includes food, a short talk and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts.

Alpha really is for anyone who’s curious. The talks are designed to encourage debate and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, honest and informal environment.

Send us your email using the form below and we’ll let you know all the details of the next course we’re running. We look forward to seeing you soon.
