Families & Young People
At CCC we’re delighted to welcome families with young people into our church family. We age appropriate groups that meet during our 10:45am Sunday morning meeting as well as Rainbow Tots, our mums and toddlers group that meets during the week.
Pebbles
Pebbles is our youngest age group activity – our Sunday morning crèche for pre-school children. We provide an opportunity for small children to have fun and learn about Jesus.
We’re very welcoming and know how stressful it can be both for parents and little ones arriving somewhere new. That’s why we’re happy for you to stay with your children as long as they need until they feel at home. Our team consists of very experienced parents and grandparents and relish the opportunity to play.
The Rock
The Rock meets on a Sunday morning and is for anyone aged 5-10 years old. We go over to the Reading Room where there is plenty of room to run about and have fun. We usually have some time catching up with each other’s news and playing games before looking at the week’s Bible story or theme. We use Scripture Union activities which can include drama, crafts, quizzes, games, music and songs. We always have a drink and a biscuit and time for praying together.
During the summer weeks we walk over to the park or watch a DVD inside if it’s raining. We sometimes even fit in a swim!
Our aim is for the children to know God’s love in their lives, and build a foundation of knowledge of the Bible and how it relates to them. Some weeks will be based on a particular event in the Bible but we also look at themes such as ‘Why do we pray?’ and ‘Who is Jesus?’.
The Rock is a fun and relaxed environment and we always welcome new faces to come and join us.
Rock Solid
Rock Solid is our group for secondary school aged kids. And runs every 2 weeks. and takes place every Sunday morning through term time during the morning service. We have lots of fun together delving into God’s word and discovering more about the Christian faith. Our sessions are varied and include video clips, games, quizzes, creativity and drama.
Our aim is to see our young people become “Rock Solid” in their relationship with Jesus – to plug into God’s word, and to really live out their faith in Him. We have a great group of kids and love spending time together, it’s a great time for bonding and building a trusting group dynamic. If you fancy coming a long, we’d love to welcome you.
Rainbow Tots
our midweek pre-school parent & child group
Come and join our toddler group. Great coffee for grown ups and story time and singing for little ones. We meet every Tuesday (during term time) 9:00 – 11:00am. Enter round the side of the building. £1 per family. Everyone welcome!

Child Protection Policy
Child Protection and the safety of our ‘little ones’ is of paramount importance to us. Here at CCC, we follow a Child Protection Policy and all leaders and those working with children and young people have been CRB/DBS checked and we adhere to the child protection and safeguarding procedures as laid out in our youth policy.
